Residential Irrigation Crew Leader

Careers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Typical day starts at the shop with a quick meeting to discuss what’s on the schedule for the day and any particulars. After that the crew leaders get with their assistants to get their truck and trailer loaded with the necessary parts. We ask each crew to do a minimum of 2 yards a day with sometimes a third depending on soil conditions, lot sizes, and location from shop. Usually lots are stacked up on the schedule so there is a good chance of being in the same development for multiple days. We do typical/standard residential lots that are anywhere from 4 to 7 zones. We run a couple of different machines for trenching: Case Maxi-sneaker, Vermeer, and Toro.
